    Blaster clutch asjustment at basket

Thank you awk! So does the piston advice i received sound bizarre or is it safe to smooth it out and throw it back in there? I plan on selling this quad within 20 hours or so but still don't wanna screw anyone either

so when i chuck the wave washer i have to replace it with an extra carbon disc? heres more pics of the piston. That wear up by the ring looks worse than it feels. in fact you cant feel it at all running your fingers across it

    Blaster clutch asjustment at basket

the scratch actually occurred during the rebuild (which was because of me cracking the case on a snare trap) so compression hasnt been tested since the scratch. I was talking about the one in the dead middle of the piston

    Blaster clutch asjustment at basket

ok guys, i figured it out. beings i already started a thread, I might as well ask these next two questions. In the clutch, i put the spring washer disc on after the second graphite disc. is this correct? i have a bit of a gap that you can see. The other question involves my cylinder. I tried to...

Is this supposed to be here?

Hey guys, this engine that I'm working on (shift lever snapped the case when chain popped) has an odd hole through the right case that doesnt look like it was machined out. I was wondering if this hole is meant to be there, or whether I have a damaged right side case. The hole Im mentioning is...

This question is for any of you guys that have brazed a case together before... now that I have a new case id like to fix this other one, but was wondering which of two ways I should approach the job with the hts2000 i purchased. I was first thinking of melting hts 2000 to both crack edges, and...

Could this tricky spot be welded?

Guys, I cracked the case right where the shifter goes in, its a very clean break though that lines up well. Two questions, one can it be welded back together and successfully hold up at such a high stress area as the shifter. And two, can I have this welded without splitting the cases?

Piston wear on valve cut out

Split the cases today guys, I couldn't find the peices from the psiton but did find other things in the video. My main concern is the hairline cracks that are in the crank roundout part of the case. In order to fix them I would have to also remove the crank, which is a pain, so I was hoping a...

Piston wear on valve cut out

Blaaster, I did have an air leak before it blew up. I was nieve and unknowing at the time, I just knew that the bike revved irraticallly when under less than mid throttle. Compression always checked out good so I thought I'd be ok.... In any case, here's a video of my unfortuanate findings...
