Ok cool, it will fit through the hole, just no room to fit the nut on. I have a reamer I'll try.
I think it may be a different style ball joint? The top one looked like stock. and the bottom one has no slit.

So I bought some used Leager +3 +1 a arms for my 88 blaster. The upper ball joint fits fine it has the cutaway for the bolt to hold it all together. Butt the bottom joint is a different style just a threaded bolt with no cutaway. my spindles are to small to accept the nut that holds the lower...

So many coils they all passed multimeter tests except the one that has the spark plug wire. time to order a new one I see they go from $7.99 to $140.00. Any reasonable priced reliable ones ?
So my source coil and pickup coil resistance ohmed out correctly its just that dang yellow red striped wire. that must go to the lights. it was not mentioned in the troubleshooting electrical check list idk. I was just worried that the wire i pulled off may have been grounded to the stator its...
I just tested mine like stated above and all my readings are correct. is the yellow/red wire used for the lights and stuff? if mine is disconnected should it be fine?
I will just get out multimeter and ohm test it till its right.
I have a 40 tooth rear sproket with 18x9.5-8 tires I assume 18 in rims? The front tires are brand new.
