Pulled the head, looks normal to me?

Front of reed cage, tore into the carb and found a 280 main jet. Getting ready to pull the head and look inside.

Guy that I bought it off said he was the original owner, never questioned it till this. What reed cage is that anyway??? Looks nothing like any blaster I've seen.......

Was ripping on the blaster today and she bogged down 6th gear pinned, limped her home and put her in the garage pissed. Calmed down after a few beers started tearing her down, this is supposed to be a "stock" 05 blaster. Pulled carb.... seemed normal. Pulled reed cage and thought, this ain't...

Bought her a new set of tire's for the Mojave, I know not a Yamaha but. She rides the hell out of it and keeps up with the blasty.....

Try "scuffing" the tube up with some very fine sandpaper? Should make the hose get a better bite on the tube, best idea I can think of right now.

We have a "blizzard" warning for tomorrow, should have some good ice/snow riding pics and vids tomorrow evening.

I've never understood why some people think that the less than 60 seconds it takes to, put a helmet on, latch your 5 point harness or buckle your seat belt isn't worth it............... I have been hit by a semi "97 Freighter" doing 70mph. I truly believe if not for seat belts I would not be...
