After months of dealing with this... I'm happy to announce that the weather finally broke 'round here and I got some of the parts I needed to put the suspension back together. We can now resume the finishing touches. We got ourselves an o-ring chain I also ordered the swing arm protector...

I don't remember off hand what the stator puts out, but it's not much to work with. If you go LED though there is some options that put out a LOT more light. Check out the body sub forum. Some guys got their blasters putting out a lot more light pretty cheap.

Braaaptor, So should I just install the swingarm without that plastic crap and metal guide for now? Can I install that chain protector you recommend while the swingarm is on or do I have to take it apart again? Just curious. The Oury grips that match pretty close to the blue Monkey picked...

I decided to go with the grey one just because it has the orange wire attached and the other would require me to dig up connectors and crimpers etc,.

What about that little metal tab on the bottom side? Am I supposed to bend it or not? Yesterday I bent to fix, what about today? :D

I'm working with a cheap-O digital meter that has 200, 2000, 20k, 200k, 2000k as the ranges. When I put it on the leads the reading goes up and down from 1.1 to 1.6 sometimes spikes to 2 ish...generally all over the place as far as a reading in my books goes. So the panel says go with it...
