Okay will fine tune it tomorrow, as far as I know from reading around, leaking out drain can be: Float height Needle not sealing due to dirt or varnish Rubber tip damaged Float getting stuck Floats no longer buoyant Anything else I'm missing?

I opened carb and everything looked good, measured float height at 21mm, is it 21 from inner base of carb where gasket lies, do I measure from surface of gasket or remove gasket and measure? Even if I'm off by say 2 mm is that enough to cause overflowing?

Okay, I was wrong appears carb is leaking from drain, screw is tightened so there must be an overflow feature. It doesn't leak when stationary but if I wiggle the quad it starts dribbling, leaks even when not running. Suggestions?

I think you may be right because was looking at it yesterday and saw the overflow tube coming off the choke/idle/air screw side of the carb had a little 1" puddle of gas at the end if the tube where it was resting on the engine. So what are the things that cause a carb to flood, I will check...

I've checked the jets and I have a 230 main and 32.5 pilot. I did notice on the carb if I pull out the choke I can't really tell a difference when I'm starting the quad, does that mean anything?

I don't think I have an aftermarket pipe, is there a way to tell by looking at it? Everything appears stock, but I am new to this. If it's all stock and I have stock jets, what are some things that would cause me to run rich?

Just looked up yamaha pistons and my ports are the same, so much for my theory. If it were something electrical what might it be, I've tested stator with multimeter and it was within spec, spark plug is new, maybe coil?
