Looks spot on mate very cool I was thinking maybe using a outer ware see how it goes will make a lid see what I prefer or what rides best I think the way the box is designed the lid will be top notch
I think Outerware on the top for a lid will make the air flow real good plus they deflect water. just gotta find a way to attach it and still make it removable. Maybe put a little lip on the top edges so you can velcro it to the top. I think people have done that in the past.
Looks awesome!!. I have an airbox that looks just like the model you have and it uses an outerwears.. The only thing different is the top of the airbox has a lip around the top edge for the Velcro for the cover.. I can grab a few pics if u need..
I have seen a pic of that airbox. That's pretty much what I modeled that off of. Just took the cmf airbox design and the sms connecting pipe. But ideally I would like the bend in the pipe right next to the airbox like I showed in the model. If I understand correctly, the sms has the bend kinda in the middle of the pipe
That bend is a 45 just because that's all I could find in the library real quick but ideally I would make that something around a 30 or whatever it takes to clear the rear shock
